This vintage rope length necklace consists of four strands of black beads. Two strands are thin and have five stations of bigger beads while the other two strands consist of three thin strands twisted together. The necklace is closed with a metal tongue and groove clasp. Necklaces like this one are used as mourning jewelry, all black jewelry pieces worn when mourning the death of a loved one. It can also be worn as a chic fashion statement from the past. This necklace is in good pre-owned condition with a fully functional clasp.
