newspaper ad premium 1950s BOBBY SHANTZ baseball AUTOGRAPH Gem razor blades
$49.00
I have listed 100s of color newspaper ads from the 1920s to 1950s. Most are extremely colorful with great graphics.
Occasionally an ad will have another DIFFERENT ad on the back. If not indicated in the title, the pictures will make it obvious. If you see multiple pictures of the same ad in a listing , it is because I have/had more than 1 of the same ad.

FROM A COLLECTION OF SPORTS/BASEBALL NEWSPAPER ADS ASSEMBLED OVER DECADES BY A SINGLE COLLECTOR.
AUTOGRAPH INFO
: the collector I bought this collection from claims to have personally witnessed each of his ads being signed IN PERSON by the actual player. He wrote a COA for each of the auto’d ads which is a B&W copier copy of as much of the ad as would fit on 8.5 x 11″ and he (the collector) signs his name. I have no reason to doubt his word because if he was going to lie, he would have picked better players than some of the ones he has ! Also considering Carl Hubbell (one of the signers of his ads) died in 1988, the collector spent many years obtaining these signatures. Of the 70+ 1930s-1950s ads he had, only 12 were signed.
Here is the player list of auto’d ads in this collection (offered in SEPARATE listings…if you can’t find then sold)
: Bobby Thompson, Carl Hubbell, Andy Pafko, Stan Musial, Johnny Logan, Alvin Dark, Bob Feller (2X), Ralph Kiner, Pete Rose, Bobby Shantz, Johnny Vander Meer
CONDITION
—-They also may have one or more of the following– edge tears, small repairs with archival tape on the reverse and/or some degree of uneven cutting when removed from newspaper originally. Additional condition comments (if needed) :
SIZE is indicated by the ruler markings in the photo.

COMBINED SHIPPING ?
YES…I can do this
but ONLY If you follow the below instructions.
To be clear, “combined shipping” is when you buy 3 items, for example, each with a shipping charge of $8, but since I can ship all 3 in the same box, you get charged $10-12 instead of $24.
I cannot “combine shipping” after you have already paid.
1) DO NOT USE the cel phone app ! If you do, EBAY will force immediate payment and charge you full shipping on each item. I will not refund your money if this happens.
2) You must log into EBAY with a
browser
(Chrome, Safari etc) on your phone, computer or laptop to avoid this.
3) Put all items in your Cart and then, while in your Cart, click the “Request Total” link. “Request Total” will not be visible if you click “Checkout” under your Cart icon. You must click “View Cart” under your Cart icon. The URL should say cart.ebay.com
Because EBAY and PAYPAL have made partial refunds so complicated, I will no longer be refunding $ if you do not follow these instructions.
MY PHOTOS
–  If more than 1 item is shown in a photo—
then items are in SEPARATE listings
