Wikipedia “Chatelaine is a decorative belt hook or clasp worn at the waist with a series of chains suspended from it. Each chain is mounted with useful household appendages such as scissors, thimbles, watches, keys, vinaigrette, and household seals. Also used as a woman’s keychain 19th century to show the status of women in a household. The woman with the keys to all the many desks, drawers, cabinets was “the woman of the household”, [as a matter of prestige].

1. I used a marked “electroplate 925″ gold bracelet as a 7 ” extender at top back. It is not for sale separately.
2. 18″ large & small black shiny resin rings necklace. It is not for sale separately.
3. & 4 1930 Bakelite & Brass Gibson Girl Cloak Buttons. 1 Button has a glued stable crack.  I added Brooch Clasp & converter to backs. With 1930 triple twisted brass link 6″ Watch fob attached. It is not for sale separately.
5. 1901 Queen Victoria portrait w/ crown Vulcanite match box safe. Royal Memorabilia Mourning her death 1901. On back VR’ (Victoria Regina) surrounded by Roses, Shamrocks, and Thistles. Both openings close and open well. Striker runs down the spine. This is a smooth chip at top & bottom. Pic 7 shows both levers of box open. I added black metal ball chain connector. Measures 2″ x 1 1/2″ closed. (For sale separately $149.90)
6. 1940 Hand carved Bone Heart Black & White Perfume snuff bottle with screw top in only 1″ x 1/8″ empty unused hole. (For sale separately $79.90)
7. 1930s Compact on 4″ silver plated chain finger purse. Outside is great condition with guilloche pink roses. Inside several mars, spot on cloudy mirror, insert that used to hold powder does not come out. Guilloche rose coin holder impractical. Measures 2 1/4″ x 2″ closed. ( for sale Individually finger purse $69.90)
All items can be removed, with a little time & effort, & worn separately; 5,6 & & have a squeeze clasp with silver plated chain included.
